Korean gochujang chicken wings (Baked/Air-fried)
The recipe is “THE BOMB”. I am in food coma right now. Three of us have finished 3.5 lbs of wings. This is THE BEST wings recipe IMHO.
I made this yesterday and Oh.My.God ! It was wiped off in minutes! It was an instant hit! Thank you for this bomb recipe!
Korean gochujang chicken wings
Coat the wings in spices
Sprinkle the spice mix + MY SECRET INGREDIENT (to get the chicken extra crispy) evenly over the wings and toss to coat.
Air fry/bake the wings
Place the chicken wings in a single layer. Air fry/bake it on one side, then flip over and cook on the other side.
Get them crispy and brown
Increase the heat of the oven/air fryer and flip and cook for another 2-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy and brown.
Make the gochujang sauce
Make the spicy, sweet, sour & salty gochujang sauce while the wings are crisping up.
Toss the wings with the sauce
Toss the wings as soon as they come out of the oven/air fryer with the gochujang sauce.
Garnish & serve!
Garnish the wings with sesame seeds and green onion tops and serve immediately with lime wedges and a chilled beer!
