10-minute boozy chocolate pudding!
I just tried this recipe and it came out really good! I used orange liqueur (cointreau) instead of coffee liqueur. I couldn’t wait till the weekend to make it! This was the best pudding I've had till now plus all easy ingredients!
Wow! This recipe was so easy and quick to make! I made it for my kids (without the booze) and it took only a couple of ingredients that I already had on hand! Never going back to store bought again!
Combine the pudding ingredients
Combine the cornstarch, sugar, salt, water and milk in a medium saucepan. Whisk well so that there are no lumps.
Cook the pudding
Cook the pudding over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes or until it starts getting quite thick (and coats the back of a spoon).
Add in the chocolate!
Add in the chocolate chips and whisk well until the chocolate is fully incorporated and mixture is quite thick.
Add in the booze!
When the chocolate is well incorporated, remove from heat and stir in the optional vanilla extract and coffee liqueur (or your favorite booze).
Divide into servings!
Divide the pudding into ramekins/glasses and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.
Decorate and serve
Optionally, serve the puddings garnished with a dollop of whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
